Swish is a modified version of table tennis allowing for participation by the blind, vision-impaired and fully sighted.
They welcome people of all ages, both vision impaired and fully sighted for fun social competition.
Swish uses a table which is 3.6 M long and 1.5 M wide with a board that acts as a net that is 7 CM high from the table to allow the ball to role under. The ball contains bottle tops that make a noise whilst it travels along the table. The players (playing either singles or doubles) hit the ball with wooden bats. The idea is to swish the ball under the net and off the other end in order to score the point. As in table Tennis, 1 person serves to the opponent, who then returns the ball and so commences the rally.
Spaces are limited so contact Chris Smith on 0412 871 525 or email us at info@lovetoassist.com.au to secure your spot.

Join Love To Assist and The Brisbane Swish Club every Thursday evening. Love To Assist will provide the transport door to door for this event.
