Our Support Workers are experts in assisting Visually Impaired NDIS Participants achieve their life goals. We aim to create a community of like-minded Participants in Brisbane with shared goals and interests, providing expert disability support when you need it most.
Our Visually Impaired disability supports include:
Guiding
All our Support Workers undergo a training session on guiding, including an understanding of guide dog etiquette
Social Inclusion
We’ll provide opportunities for you to join social activities with other like-minded Participants
Sporting
Our Support workers can assist you with a range of involvement in a range of sports such as swish, lawn bowls, archery, kayaking and fishing
Home maintenance & assistance
We’ll look after the house and yard so you can live comfortably at home, and support you to maintain current skills while learning new ones
Transport
Our team can take you safely to and from your appointments, social outings, and events, with extra seats available for friends and family to come along

Our Visually Impaired Participants will have Chris as their specialist Team Leader. Visually Impaired since birth, Chris has lived personal experience navigating the world of Visual Impairment and is our go-to for all enquiries related to blindness and vision loss. With first-hand experience navigating assistive technology, swish and tennis, Chris will be the first to welcome you into the Love to Assist family and ensure you receive the support you need to achieve your goals.
