With years of experience supporting people with disability, combined with a strong background in customer service, leadership, and problem-solving, Stein brings a calm, practical, and person-centred approach to every shift. He believes that quality support is about building genuine relationships, empowering participants to achieve their goals, and always treating people with dignity and respect.
Stein has extensive experience supporting people with vision impairment and a range of everyday support needs, assisting with community access, transport, appointments, shopping, household tasks, paperwork, and in-home support. He understands that no two people are the same and takes the time to get to know each participant, tailoring his support to suit their individual preferences, routines, and goals. His friendly nature and ability to build trust quickly help participants feel comfortable, confident, and well supported.
Outside of disability support, Stein has built an impressive career across Australia Post, retail management, sales, labouring, and business development. These diverse roles have strengthened his communication, organisation, leadership, and teamwork skills while teaching him the importance of reliability, accountability, and delivering exceptional service. Whether working independently or as part of a team, Stein consistently demonstrates professionalism, adaptability, and a willingness to go the extra mile for those around him.
Currently studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) and Bachelor of Science at Queensland University of Technology, Stein is committed to continuous learning and personal growth. His strong work ethic, practical mindset, and genuine desire to help others make him a valued member of the Love to Assist team.
